Drag Bike Racing Royalty Set To Race In 2022 Man Cup Competition
Hollywood Drag Racing will be The Man Cup Pro Ultra 4.60 Class Sponsor in 2022. Dystany Spurlock and Chase Van Sant are set to ride this weekend amongst many others. They will be riding in the tough Pro Ultra 4.60 class.
The first Man Cup event of 2022 will be held in Orlando, Florida March 4th thru the 6th. The event features a series of qualifying rounds from 11 different classes in order to determine who will make it to the finals to become the champion.
The Mancup Motorcycle Drag Racing Competition was first organized in 1971 and has been running for more than 50 years now. It has been recognized as one of the most important events for motorcycle drag racing enthusiasts around the world.
Pro Riders Dystany Spurlock and Chase Van Sant
Dystany Spurlock:
Dystany’s energy for speed began at an early age riding on the rear of the Motorcycle with her mother and father from the age of 6.
Her life would be changed at 12 years old when she went to a race at Virginia Motorsports Park with her godfather. Something about the sound of motorcycles speeding on the blacktop set her off in a positive manner and she continued to attend the races.
Rapidly observing her little girl’s passion for motorcycles, her mom bought her a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R 750 and after 90 days she broke the record on the Brocks BMW Performance Center bike by racing down the quarter-mile in 8.46 seconds at 163 mph.
Dystany is additionally the quickest lady on a BMW s1000rr in Curacao with a time of 8.57 seconds, and in 2018 she was enlisted into the Hopkins BMW Museum.
In 2019, she impacted the world forever by being the first female (not to mention African American woman) to win a 4.60 record at the South Georgia Motorsports Park and has made several more appearances since then.

Chase Van Sant:
Chase Van Sant is a Pro Ultra 4.60 motorcycle drag bike racer who has been racing for the past fifteen years. His most recent race was at the Mancup World finals on Nov. 2021.
Chase Van Sant started racing Jr. Dragsters class when he was just 10 years old. Now at the age of 23, he is a pro racer. He has been racing since 2007 and is currently sponsored by Trick Tools, Nitrous Express, and Schnitz racing.
Chase Van Sant is passionate about motorcycles and his goal as a racer is to be the best in his class. Chase has always been a high-caliber athlete. He was a Division 1 long jumper and sprinter at the University of Northern Iowa.
He also won the 2020 Man Cup and NHDRO championship in the Pro Ultra 4.60 racing class. Chase is looking to take home more trophies this year.
